Jason Hyunsuk Ko, MD, is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in reconstruction of the brachial plexus. Dr. Ko earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery training at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine’s McGaw Medical Center and also completed a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center.

Dr. Ko has served as assistant professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. The esteemed surgeon is respected by his peers, having won numerous awards, including the Resident Teaching Award and the Chief Residents Award in the Division of Plastic Surgery from the University of Washington. Dr. Ko belongs to a number of prestigious organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery and the Washington Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Ko combines his excellent training with superior skill in performing an array of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. He is passionate about finding the latest advances in surgical technology and methods to enhance the results of plastic and reconstructive procedures. Dr. Ko has co-authored a number of peer-reviewed research articles and books on plastic and reconstructive surgery topics, including scar formation, flap reconstruction, and the brachial plexus.
